Instructions for Installing Braum's Desktop

If you use Internet Explorer (3.0 or above) or Netscape (3.0 and above), you can use any of the images above as your desktop wallpaper. Other browsers may also have this capability; you'll just have to try it to see if it works.

Win95/98/NT:

1. Left-click on one of the thumbnail images below to open a larger (800 X 600) version of the image. This is a large file and may take a minute to download.

2. Right-click on the larger version of the image that appears. 3. Choose "Set as Wallpaper" from the image menu that appears.

4. After selecting this option, that image will now be centered on your desktop.

5. Your browser saves the image to your Windows directory as Internet Explorer Wallpaper.bmp or Netscape Wallpaper.bmp. Each time you use this method to set an image as your wallpaper, these are the file names used. If you wish to keep the image and be able to choose it in the future, you should change the name of the file to something like BRAUMS.bmp. If this is not done, the Braum's image you saved will be lost the next time you save an image as Wallpaper.bmp. The new file name (BRAUMS.com, if that is what you called it ) will then be an option when you open your Display Properties page.

6. Now that you have saved the image as your desktop image, press "back" to return to the desktop image page at the braums.com site.

Mac 8.0:

1. Click on one of the thumbnail images below to open a larger (800 X 600) version of the image. This is a large file and may take a minute to download.

2. Click and hold the larger version of the image and then select the "Save this image" command. Save the file in the "Desktop Pictures" folder located in the "Apple Extras."

3. Now that you have saved the image as your desktop image, press "back" to return to the desktop image page at the braums.com site.
