Ice Cream Salad


  • 1 large can sliced peaches
  • 1 small pkg. lemon gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 tsp. grated lemon rind
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 pint Braum’s Vanilla Ice Cream


  1. Drain and dice peaches saving ½ cup of syrup. Set aside.
  2. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in peach syrup, lemon rind and lemon juice. Add ice cream by spoonfuls, stirring until melted.
  3. Chill until mixture mounds on spoon.
  4. Fold in diced peaches.
  5. Place into mold and refrigerate until serving.
